Coach James

James brings over 19 years of coaching experience and a passion for empowering young girls through football to Little Lionesses. Starting his coaching journey at 17, James has worked with professional clubs and earned his UEFA B license. His time with the Olympic Development Program in North Carolina expanded his expertise in developing players both technically and tactically.

As a Physical Education teacher with 13 years of experience and a Safeguarding Lead, James ensures a safe, inclusive environment for his players. His role as a father of two girls drives his commitment to providing young female athletes with a supportive space to thrive, both on and off the field.

James’s coaching philosophy emphasises holistic development, focusing on confidence, leadership, and passion. He tailors fun, personalised training sessions to help each player reach her full potential.
