Little Lionesses FC - The Team(s)

After successfully launching our girls-only football coaching school on Sunday mornings, we quickly discovered just how much passion and excitement there was for girls’ football in our community. The interest was so strong that we soon began planning to create a team to enter the Hertfordshire Girls Football Partnership League.

In spring 2025, we proudly formed our very first team at U9. With fantastic volunteers stepping into key roles and giving their time so generously, everything came together. On September 6th, 2025, Little Lionesses FC walked onto the pitch for the club’s first official match — a truly unforgettable milestone. We haven’t looked back since. The journey has been incredible, and we are already putting plans in motion to welcome even more teams into the club.

We would not be where we are without our amazing sponsors, Enfield Plumbing Supplies. Their generosity has opened the door for these girls to train and play every week — something we are truly grateful for.

Our matchdays take place on Saturday mornings, and training is held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30–7:30 pm. Unlike many grassroots clubs, we are fortunate to have our sessions led by a UEFA B-licensed coach, giving our girls the benefit of high-quality, professional coaching.

We are proud of how far Little Lionesses FC has come — and even more excited for what’s still to come.
